If you need the protection a pair of wellies offer against water, mud, slush, snow and everything else nature can throw at you, but want the comfort and versatility of a hiking boot, our WVSport Country Boots are the answer.

Now in this insulated version, built to withstand harsh weather and freezing temperatures down to -22° / -7.6 Fahrenheit.

The fit is slightly wider with a rounded toe box with slightly more height. You have more room to move your toes and room for a thick hiking sock.

The rubber injection soles are designed with grip, traction, braking and stability areas. They have an open profile. If it's super muddy they won't clog and are easy to hose down or scrape off at the end of a long walk.

You can put these boots to the test and rely on them for reliability with outsoles that are ballistically welded to the upper so they don't come apart easily. The upper is made of abrasion-resistant and abrasion-resistant Lyliane 3DMX and Cordura materials. The construction is water-resistant, so it will protect you in most situations and keep your feet dry. You cannot wear it in running water, deep puddles or deep snow for extended periods of time.

Where these boots really come into their own is their all-day comfort. They sit snug but comfortably on your lower calf, thanks to the soft, stretchy knit back panel that won't dig in or rub. The outsoles are not heavy and have a nice flex, which makes them different from a pair of boots. They are more like wearing a pair of chunky sneakers that you can wear for long distances. Your feet walk on recycled removable, cushioned anatomical insoles. The patented Support System supports your ankles.

WVSport models are designed and produced in the foothills of the Dolomites, Italy.

We create each model using CAD design technology that simulates the different phases of the running experience.

We use advanced components and construction methods to create the models, such as Vibram soles and a patented support system, meaning the fit is always comfortable and secure.

Development samples are lab tested for days on end for their abrasion resistance, durability and water resistance. It can take months, sometimes years, for new models to be developed.

The factory has one of the largest photovoltaic installations in Italy, meaning 70% of the power used to produce WVSport shoes comes from solar energy.
In addition to complying with EU employment, discrimination and health and safety legislation, the factory also has a Charter of Human Responsibilities (or code of ethics) that ensures the company is committed to respecting the rights, the work and dignity of its employees.

To source the materials to make each model, we work with the factory using a traceability system that allows us to track every step of the manufacturing process to know what we're using and where it comes from.
