Brand: ONLY NATURAL

Ciska Jansen and George Oud are the owners of Only Natural. They are supported by a team of motivated employees. The company was founded after a trip to India in search of beautiful paper to print poems on. In the Netherlands there appeared to be a market for handmade stationery and so the company started importing on a small scale in 1983. The product range has now expanded enormously; from home accessories to small furniture and Christmas decorations.

Ethically produced: India has been their 'second home' for 37 years now. Only natural does not work with intermediaries, but directly with the makers of the products. They have built a lasting relationship with their producers in India. They ensure that the employees and producers receive a fair wage and that they work under good working conditions. The basic principle is that the children in India go to school and that there is no child exploitation in the factories they work with.

Eco-friendly: environmentally conscious and sustainable production is an important pillar of Only Natural. They make products from waste paper, but also by upcycling residual materials from the fashion industry. They use the fabrics from the fashion industry to make paper pulp from which the special papier-mâché Christmas pendants are made.
