This Cotton Poncho Green is a gorgeous addition to your summer wardrobe. Handmade with soft natural cotton and dyed with natural dyes, it is both stylish and eco-friendly.

You can wear it loose or with one of our handcrafted leather belts for a versatile look.

Each poncho is skillfully handwoven by Mayan master weavers from the cooperative Ajttonel Ixok in Guatemala. They use 100% self-grown cotton and self-made natural dyes extracted from barks, plants, vegetables, seeds, and flowers.

By supporting these indigenous women weavers, you are directly helping to support their families and children's education and strengthening of associations of women weavers and their communities.

Care Instructions:

To keep your poncho looking its best, we recommend hand washing with cold water and laying flat or hanging to dry. Do not bleach and iron using the cotton setting.

Environmentally Friendly: For the wool collection Quetzal Artisan uses materials such as bamboo, alpaca wool, and organic cotton, which are spun in the Andes mountains of South America. For the Guatemalan collection, they only use natural materials such as cotton and viscose, and they paint by hand using natural paint products such as tree bark and flowers.
