Fairly made in Türkiye
In our GOTS-certified production in Türkiye, our knitwear is made from organic cotton. The company exists since 1982 and employs about 100 people. The production is managed by the "Patron", as the owner is affectionately called, for 35 years.
Organic virgin wool & organic cotton
Our material blend of organic cotton and virgin wool makes your favourite piece even cosier. For guaranteed animal welfare, we only use mulesing-free wool, which is obtained by carefully shearing the animals' soft fur.

100% climate neutralized

This item is completely CO₂-neutralized. Together with the experts from ClimatePartner, we determine the CO₂ emissions caused during production and offset them by supporting a carbon offset project.



100% GOTS-certified

This GOTS certified garment is made of 100% natural fibers in kbA-/kbT quality and its production meets the comprehensive social and environmental criteria required by the GOTS seal.

It is a long way from the first idea to the new garment and many people are involved in this creative process. We set ourselves high standards along the entire textile value chain, and we show you where we produce and the people behind our products.

About the brand

Lanius is a brand founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius with a clear vision to bring ecological materials and fair working conditions together to create beautiful feminine items. Lanius stands for LOVE FASHION / THINK ORGANIC / BE RESPONSIBLE and you can see that in their clothing.

Fair Trade: Lanius works only with facilities where they can guarantee fair production. They have a close relationship with all of them, and most of their suppliers are GOTS certified. They are very transparent and have a page dedicated to all their suppliers on their website, so you can see who made your clothing.

Environmentally Friendly: The clothes are made from GOTS certified organic cotton grown in an eco-friendly manner, organic and mulesing-free wool and ECONYL ® 100% regenerated nylon yarn made from recycled fishing nets. They also use other sustainable materials and have a page dedicated to all their materials on their website if you want to learn other eco-friendly materials.

Good Cause: On international women’s day Lanius donates 10% of all daily takings to the organization FEMNET.
