gaia x LANIUS: We are happy about the new cooperation with gaia and that the gaia organic beeswax cloth now shows up in the unique LANIUS Print Jungle. The beeswax cloth is a plastic-free and reusable, thus sustainable alternative to cling film. In addition, the cloths are breathable, handmade and sustainable for people and nature.

gaia produziert in Hamburg und nach höchstem Standard in unserer Bio-Zertifizierten Manufaktur
The organic beeswax cloth is made of organic cotton printed with vegan colors, organic beeswax, organic jojoba oil (in very small quantity) and tree resin (in very small quantity) - nothing more.
The packaging is made of grass paper and is easily recyclable and biodegradable due to the high grass fiber content.
Except for the tree resin, the components of the oilcloths are certified organic and tested for pesticides. We obtain the resin for this from a small pitch mill in Austria.
Lanius is a brand founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius with a clear vision to bring ecological materials and fair working conditions together to create beautiful feminine items. Lanius stands for LOVE FASHION / THINK ORGANIC / BE RESPONSIBLE and you can see that in their clothing.
Fair Trade: Lanius works only with facilities where they can guarantee fair production. They have a close relationship with all of them, and most of their suppliers are GOTS certified. They are very transparent and have a page dedicated to all their suppliers on their website, so you can see who made your clothing.
Environmentally Friendly: The clothes are made from GOTS certified organic cotton grown in an eco-friendly manner, organic and mulesing-free wool and ECONYL ® 100% regenerated nylon yarn made from recycled fishing nets. They also use other sustainable materials and have a page dedicated to all their materials on their website if you want to learn other eco-friendly materials.
Good Cause: On international women’s day Lanius donates 10% of all daily takings to the organization FEMNET.
