About the brand

NAE Vegan has been a pioneer in vegan shoes since 2008. While many other vegan shoe brands opted for materials made from plastic, NAE has been looking for the most eco-friendly alternatives to leather since its inception.

Eco-friendly: NAE uses materials such as cork, and organic cotton, but also innovative leather substitutes. For example, they use substitutes made from apples, corn or pineapple. Very important, because one of the biggest challenges of sustainable materials is scaling up; early adopters like NAE make a difference in that.

NAE also offers a 2-year warranty on the shoes.

Fair and local production: NAE's products are made in Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom. The factories they work with are regularly checked for fair and safe working conditions.

Good Cause: twice a year, NAE donates products to Remar Portugal, an organization that is committed to social inclusion.
