Style
The feminine wrap jacket that can be tied in various versions has 1/2 arm length in a kimono look. The vegan silk from Japan is recycled from cotton waste and processed into a high-quality fabric.

This item is made of 100% cupro. Cupro is vegan silk and, like its animal counterpart, feels particularly soft and light on the skin. The woven, flowing fabric is made from recycled cotton seeds. In a closed loop, our producer in Japan uses a complex process to produce vegan silk from the raw material. This cyclical manufacturing process protects the environment and no harmful substances enter the environment. The manufacturer works with various organizations to also pay attention to the social component.

This style is made in Turkey by the textile manufacturer Bestform. This producer is certified by Sedex and BSCI, among others, and the two owners - father and son - look after their employees and sometimes even lend a hand themselves. Still quite tricky, because often you only find out after ordering that there is a leather patch on the jeans, that some wool has been processed in a sweater, or that the glue in the shoes is not vegan (if you ever find out).
Fortunately, there is a wide range of vegan products that are also made fairly and sustainably. These products are only fragmented over the internet in small webshops. Shop Like You Give a Damn brings all these products together in an online department store, where they have researched for you why and in what way a product is sustainable and of course whether it is actually vegan.
