Founded by the Italian-Japanese Brazilian-born designer Leticia Credidio and based in East London. After working as an art director for some of the world's leading NGOs and experiencing the negative health effects of overwork and lack of sleep, she decided to create a brand that champions taking the time to rest, embrace comfort, and be present in the now. Drawing inspiration from her Venetian grandmother, who used to sew her pyjamas and ballet costumes. Every decision, from materials to production, pushes the boundaries of care and consideration, making each piece designed in East London and handmade in Emilia Romagna, Italy, a sustainable investment made to stand the test of time.
Fair production: The items are made in a small atelier in Italy. The materials come from Germany, Brazil and Japan and are either certified or carefully checked on working conditions.
Locally produced: The items are made in a family-run atelier based in Emilia Romagna, Italy
Eco-friendly: Besides materials like GOTS-certified organic cotton, the brand also uses innovative and sustainable materials like SeacellITM, which is made from organic seaweed. Leticia Credidio also offers a hand-me-up scheme, where you can return your item so that they can upcycle and/or resell them. The only condition? Your garment needs to be more than 3 years old, to avoid you buying and tossing!
Vegan: Leticia Credidio is completely suited for vegans; the brand even owns a Designer to Watch award from PETA.
